Two Power Modes & Brightness-Adjustable Backlight

It can be powered by a DC adapter (included) or a 2*AA battery (not included). The screen will turn off automatically in about 10-15 seconds to save power when using battery power. The screen stays on if you use a power adapter. Screen brightness can be adjusted with the SIXTH button beside the weather station.

Extra USB Charger for Phone

This thermometer requires two AA batteries to operate, but it may also be powered by a DC charger. A USB plug socket has now been included so that you may charge your phone when the thermometer is placed around your bed or on a table.

There have 6 simple and vivid icons(forecast in the next 8 hours) to display the weather forcast.

Alert Setting of Fixed Temperature

Press the “ALERT” button(the fifth button beside the device) to enter the temperature alert setting, and press and hold the “ALERT” button again to set the highest or lowest temperature, the device will alert when it reaches out to set temperature.

Moon Phases and Tide Indicator

View the Moon Phase which is changed according to the calendar. Please make sure to set the correct time zone and date. The moon doesn’t light up during the New moon.

FAQ

Here are some tips about the backlight

1) When powered by batteries, to save power, the backlight only lights up 15s(Power saving mode). Touch the “Snooze” button to wake up the backlight.

2) When plugged in the power cord, the backlight brightness button is the 6th button, right side. Press it to turn on the backlights at full brightness. Press it again to begin dimming the light. Keep pressing. When the display gets to full dark, you can turn it back on for 15 seconds using the touch button on the top. To get back to continued full brightness, press the 6th button again.

Here are the steps to choose Time Zone and set the Time

1. choose a time zone:

1) Press and hold the 1st button beside the device to enter 24/12 hrs setting, press the “UP” and “DOWN” buttons to choose, and press the 1st button again to confirm the setting and enter the time zone setting.

2) Press the “DOWN” button to set the time zone according to your location, and turn on DST. (when Daylight saving time)

2. Set the time

1）Manual: After turning ON DST, you can continue to set the correct time and date.

2）Auto: After turning ON DST, leave it alone until it displays normal time, press and hold the “UP” button for 5 seconds to manually begin to search the WWVB signal. At this time, the backlight will turn dark, this process takes about 7 minutes and the backlight will light up again after the search. Then the time and date will be automatically set.
