Question:how big your turtle has to be,mine is 7 years old

Answer:7 is a good age, however you will want to measure the turtle by cm.

Question:I have a 40 gal breeder tank. Would this fit on a 40 gal?

Answer:You can measure the size of your water tank, the width of the tank is needed within 25-33 cm

Question:Can you attach ur UVB and heat bulbs to the top of this?

Answer:you can’t attach them directly but there is a opening on the top with a metal grid. I put my lights diagonally over that with no problems at all. I have the standard two light device.

Question:If you put the topper on, will that just leave the other side of the tank open?

Answer:Yes, it will leave the other part of the tank open. If you’re having trouble with an escape artist, you should either put less water in the tank or move objects that allow the turtle to climb over the edge.
